Document Submission Precautions
a. Document Validity
- All submitted documents must have been issued within six (6) months from the application deadline.
- Exception: Financial documents proving ability to pay are valid if issued within 30 days.
- If a document explicitly states its validity period, it will be accepted accordingly.
b. Document Language and Notarization
- All documents must be originals.
- Documents written in languages other than Korean or English must be translated into Korean or English and notarized.
- If an original cannot be reissued, a certified copyverified by the issuing institution and notarized must be submitted.
c. Academic Credential Verification (for overseas high school graduates)
One of the following verifications must be submitted:
- Confirmation by the Korean Consulate or foreign consulate in Korea in the country where the school is located.
- Apostille confirmation issued by an official apostille authority in the school’s country.
- For graduates from China: Certification issued by the China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC)
- For graduates from Myanmar: college Entrance Examination (Matriculation Exam) pass certificate, transcript, and 9th Standard (Grade 10) transcript may be accepted.
d. Domestic High School Graduates
- Submit a school record instead of academic credential verification.
e. North Korean Defector Applicants
- Submit documents in accordance with the Act on the Protection and Settlement Support of North Korean Defectorsand its Enforcement Decree.
f. Responsibility for Errors or Omissions
- Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages (e.g., disqualification) caused by errors, omissions, or incorrect information in the application form or submitted documents.
g. Document Return and Additional Submissions
- Submitted documents will not be returned.
- Additional documents may be requested, if necessary. Failure to submit them may result in exclusion from evaluation.
h. Submission Method and Address
- Method: Registered mail, courier, quick delivery, or in-person submission
