Scope of exchange student credit approval

• Exchange student credit approval is only for students selected for student exchange program has acquired from foreign college which has established sisterhood relationship with us.
• Basic criteria is the number of school days and time, examine total approved credits by considering system of dispatched college.
• Acquired credits will be approved in three categories of major course[major], general course[general] and general selective(selective).
• Credits will be approved only from dispatched college, not included in grade average conversion, calculated as total acquired credits.
• Subjects with grades such as Pass, Satisfactory, 优秀, 良好 and included in acquired credits in dispatched college, will be approved as credits.
• Credits from other than dispatched college will not be approved.
• Only credits counts as graduate condition in dispatched college will be approved. If the credits are marked as "0", will not be approved even you took the subject.
• acquired credits have different system with Myongji's or exceed approval limit, will be calculated considering category ratio. [Major takes priority, then the others]

• Transcript approval limit : The original transcript only. Grade report or transcript by fax. are excluded.
• Course Descriptions submission : Credit categorizing criteria
  ※ The course category can be checked in syllabi and bulletin.

• Credit approval according to taken course

• Major : In case of language-related departments(English, Chinese, Japanese), subject with their native language is considered as major course.
  ※ In case of non-language-related departments, follows the syllabus.
• General courses are approved as general credits.
• Non-major·general courses are approved as general selective credits.

• Credit approval and Computerizing : Credit approval for exchange students are up to 20 credits per semester, up to 40 credits a year(2 semesters of more).
