Guidance on Multiple Applications and Dual Registration
a. Prohibition of Multiple Applications
- Applicants who have been accepted through rolling admissions at specialized colleges (including those accepted through supplementary admissions) are not allowed to apply for regular admissions (including self-determined or additional admissions) at universities (including education and industrial universities), regardless of whether they have completed registration.
- Likewise, applicants accepted through rolling admissions at universities (including education and industrial universities) are not allowed to apply for regular admissions (including self-determined admissions) at specialized colleges, regardless of registration status.
b. Prohibition of Dual Registration
- Applicants who have passed rolling admissions may pay the registration confirmation deposit to only one college/college. If an applicant pays the registration deposit to two or more institutions, it will be considered dual registration, and their acceptance or admission will be revoked.
- If an applicant receives a supplementary acceptance notificationfrom another institution during the supplementary announcement period, they must notify the institution they do notintend to enroll in and withdraw their registrationaccordingly.
c. Penalties for Violating Application and Registration Rules
- After the admissions process is complete, the application, acceptance, and registration records of all freshmen will be cross-checked through a computerized system. If any prohibited multiple applications or dual registration are identified, admission will be revoked.
- The prohibition on multiple applications and dual registrationdoes not applybetween universities/specialized colleges and universities established by special law.
