What is multi-function smart card(Student ID)?

Multi-function smart card(Student ID) is the latest card that provides integration and convenience to the customer. Also provide advanced services that can be functioned as ID, library entrance and book rental, electronic attendance, public transportation card and debit card

Introduction action

• Multi-function smart card system is a project to make difference with other colleges and to promote school-life convenience for students and faculty members with the cooperation with Hana-Bank.
• Multi-function smart card(ID) is dedicated for students and developed to perform various functions of library use, public transportation card, ID for electronic attendance.

Main functions and guide

Public Transportation

• Multi-function smart card(Student ID) are carrying T-Money and can be used on public transportations with payment terminal such as bus, subway and taxi without any additional transportation card. Use after charging certain amount through charger like other regular transportation card.

Financial service

• Debit card function
  : Multi-function smart card(Student ID) can be used for banking such as deposit and withdraw through CD or ATM of Hana Bank in and outside of the college, and withdrawing money is available through CD and ATM of other banks.
• Electronic cash(T-Money) function
  - Multi-function smart card contains T-Money and can be used affiliated stores with payment terminal such as school cafeteria, school snack bar, convenience store, bookstore and so on payment terminal. Use after charging certain amount through T-Money charger.
  - If the card is stolen or lost, charged money are not refunded. (Electronic card is payed directly from the chip to be used the same as cash, preventing and verifying of usage are not available.)
  
  ※ For refund of the electronic cash(T-Money) actual card is needed. In case of reissuing card for other reasons than stolen and lost, visit Hana-bank branch and get a refund of current card, and then apply for reissue.
  - -Hana VIVA debit card function
  Only for the Multi-function smart card(Student ID) and Faculty VIVA Debit card.
  Notice : Cash card, Electronic cash and Hana VIVA Debit card are seperated functions.

Library access and book borrowing function

• When entering the gate, you can be identified easily and also borrow books by contacting the Multi-function smart card(Student ID) to the device

Attendance Function

• The function that can check attendance by contacting the Multi-function smart card to the device at the entrance of the lecture room.
