Introduction

Library of Myongji College has been developing continuously since it's opening in 1974, and supporting academic research of professors and students with various services, more than 200,000 books and 2,500 kinds of serial publications. Starting with computerization of library in 1995, we established SOLARS 8 system in 2017and implementing electronic information services and functioning as academic information center providing online list, web DB, electronic journal and online contents and 1,000 seats for the reference room.

Library use guidance

A. Reference reading room

Furnishing general books, reference books, serial publications, thesis by topics free to read.

B. Free reading room

Free reading room have around 1,000 seats and library hours are 09:00~22:00 on weekdays and 24hours during examination period.
※ The library is issuing library use certificate to local residents, alumni, student in leave of absence with predetermined procedure.

C. Library hours

Always open except for the national holidays(including Saturday) and school anniversary. (Free reading rooms are opened 365days in principal, yet, can be temporarily closed when the Library Manager regard as necessary)

Lending and returning books

A. Lend

Lending books are as below. Extension of lending is restricted to once only, reserved books and overdue books cannot be extended

※ Separately stored books(Reference books, serial publications, thesis) cannot be lent outside.

B. Return

Lent book must be returned in appointed date. If not, lending book and issue of certificates will be prohibited according to the days being late.

Library Services

A. Interlibrary loan

The college library has a contract with National Assembly Library, National Library of Korea, KERIS and running original documents search and document copy service.

   2. (B) Only by the search PC for National Assembly Digital Library search at the library serial publications room
   3. (C) Use Copying card(T-Money) to print the original documents

The college library is issuing certificate for access to libraries of other college(institute).

Request for books

1. A. If the date you are looking for is not avilable, you can request on the library homepage.
    1) Access the library homepage(https://lib.mic.ac.kr)
    2) Login(Click login button on the top right)
   3) Click My library / Book request
